Angkasa Pura II (APII) is Indonesia’s state-owned enterprise responsible for the management of Soekarno-Hatta (Soetta) International Airport - South East Asia’s #1 and World’s #18 busiest airport. With such unending air traffic, Soetta’s ARFF is facing a difficult challenge: to response to airfield emergencies while unable to physically train in that very airfield.
Using socratic approach, Virtu is working closely with APII to uncover the main pain points and deliver a practical solution. In the end, we managed to deliver a realistic VR simulation that not only helps to 10x the training frequency while at the same time saving more than $700k annually compared to traditional training.
